    Recycling is a good way to preserve our natural resources and other items that can be dangerous if disposed of the wrong way! I wrote some of my knowledge about recycling and some questions about it to try and persuade you to think of ways to recycle in your neighborhood. I first wrote about what we knew about recycling without the research that we had done. Second, I wrote about what we wanted to know about recycling. Finally, I wrote about what we found out about recycling through the research that we had done.

     This is my second paragraph, it talks about what my classmates and I wanted to know about recycling. I want to know how we recycle items. My classmate asked “Why don’t we recycle more?” One of my classmate asked about all the different things that can be recycled. My classmate wanted to know about the different ways to recycle. My classmate wanted to know how recycling started.     

     This is my final paragraph, it tells about what we learned from my research on recycling. People and families try to reduce, re- use , and recycle as much as possible. The buy as few hazardous substances as possible. There are some items around the house that are dangerous if they are just thrown away with the regular garbage. Wash empty jars so they can be re-used.

     Cyber-bullying has caused countless kids and even some adults to kill themselves. Cyber-bullying has caused certain states and schools to do something about cyber-bullying. Schools have banned or postponed computer and internet privaledges just to make sure that cyber-bullying is not done on campus. Cyber-bullying may not seem very threatening at first, but it can become a crisis that can ruin lives of not only people close to the victim, but people who were doing the bullying as well.

      According to Cyber-bullying wikipedia, Cyber-bullying is bullying that is done online or bullying done from the internet. It is a way of terrorizing a person without directly talking to or being next to him/her. Cyber-bullying can be done while at home or in a place different from the victims area. Cyber-bullying can be done without anyone knowing who did it. It is also more dangerous than physical bullying.

     When people need friends, they go online to websites that help them find new friends. When a person finds a friend online, that person relies on their friend to help them feel comfortable. When the persons friend turns on them, then that person feels unwanted and sometimes they feel like doing something drastic. One of them might include SUICIDE!!! If cyber-bullying is done, then it may convince people who have heard of this being done to react in a manner that may act like a domino effect and make other people create laws that help ban or disable computer privilages in a certain area.

     I learned that cyber-bullying can be more dangerous than physical bullying. Cyber-bullying can be done from places that make the sender to be located from. The worst thing cyber-bullying can do to a person is make them commit SUICIDE!!!(dun dun dun) Cyber-bullying can be prevented through some areas around the world preventing cyber-bullying by making it illegal. Some schools can prevent cyber-bullying by banning students from using the computer or internet. Some e-mailing websites give features that help track where the threatening or offensive message came from.

     A New Years resolution is a good way to start off a new year! I wrote some of mine to try to persuade you to write a New Years resolution of your own. My first New Years resolution is to get organized for everything that I do. My second resolution is to clean my room more often. My third resolution is to stop being lazy.

     My first New Years resolution is to get organized. This can help me both inside and out. This helps me outside because if I can always get organized I’d have no problem finding items when I need them the most. It also helps me inside because if I’m organized it could improve how I feel about myself overall!

     My second New Years resolution is to clean my room more often. This helps me inside, but it really helps me outside. Cleaning my room more often helps me inside because if I clean more often then it would help me maintain a clean environment when I get a house of my own. It really helps me outside because if my room is clean then I can start having a good feeling everytime I walk into my room. It also helps because it prevents my mom from yelling at me and telling me to start cleaning.

     My final resolution is to stop being lazy, and it is the most important resolution for me! Getting over being lazy is the biggest thing to acheive in order to help me both inside and out. It would help me inside by giving myself the energy to acheive more goals than rather to just be contemplated about myself. It also helps me outside because if I was lazy, I wouldn’t be able to reach my other 2 resolutions this year!

     Overall, these 3 resolutions are my main concern for the year of 2008. My first resolution is to get organized. My second resolution is to clean my room more often. My final is to stop being lazy. Everyone is making a New Years resolution. You should make one too!

     You shouldn’t watch “The Outsiders” if you have read the book. To me, the “Outsiders” was a really boring movie! If you have just finished reading the book, you might be excited to watch the movie. WELL DON’T BE!!! The book was more interesting to me because it was more detailed.

     If you watch the movie the first time, you will really notice what events  happened and what didn’t happen that were mentioned in the book To me, this movie didnt really have a category. I, like most people I know, don’t enjoy movies that don’t have a specific category. This movie is not romantic, comedy, horror, or an action movie like any person would like it to be. Also, if you watch the movie and haven’t read the book you would be really confused about the storyline because the movie doesn’t concentrate on the storyline. It just concentrates on what some of the things that happened, but it doesn’t explain what or why events happened. You would also get confused about the characters’ names because their names aren’t mentioned that much in the movie. So, overall, this movie is only good to watch if you like BORING movies!

     During October 31st I went to the school’s Halloween Dance. To me the dance was a big success. There was a lot of students dancing and basically having a good time. The music was good enough for everyone to dance to. To me, it looked like the gym was filled with UMS students who were excited to have a good time!

     The dance was fun for both staff members and students. Teachers really got into the music and started dancing. It was really cool how they were enjoying this dance as much as we did. Students were also having a good time. People were laughing, playing around, and dancing with one another. At times, students got out of hands by the way they were dancing, but other than that, most of the students danced on an appropriate level. After the dance, students came out of the gym laughing and smiling, which was a good thing!!!

My favorite website whenever I go on to the internet is Google.Google is a place that helps people find information that other websites contain.Google images also help you find images or photos that you want to look up for research! It also has links to go to that website! Mostly everyone with internet knows that Google is one of the most reliable websites for research.Google is a website that you should go to if you need help finding any information. So its a website that you should go to for anything. Google should be the website that you rely on the most!!!

     Schools should have a uniform policy! Uniforms are better for schools so students wouldn’t have to buy so much clothes. It would also prevent people from wearing colors that are gang colors. This is a good think because it makes it so students wouldn’t get jumped because they were wearing a different color.

     School uniforms are a must for most professional schools. Uniforms are a way for students to be in sync with each other. It is also a way that prevents students from wearing different types of clothes and getting teased for being different. Also, if all students wore their uniforms properly it would make the school seem like a well- off institute for learning.

     People were both mourning and greiving at Untalan Middle School when they found out about the unfortunate news! When I got to UMS, people were crying and talking abhout all the fun times that they had with her. Some of Joanna’s teachers were working on a petition to name the skatepark after Joanna.

     Joanna’s accident brought up a lot of issues that should’ve been fixed before the skatepark was opened. The skatepark should have a bathroom so kids wouldn’t have had to walk across the street to go to the bathroom Also , we need to have closer crosswalks because sometimes kids are too impatient to go to the crosswalk that was far away. To me, the most important issue was that the driver was drunk! If he wasn’t a drunk driver then maybe this whole accident wouldn’t have happened. That is an issue that if it is fixed, then a lot accidents would’ve been avoided!

     My favorite movie is War. This movie is, in my opinion, one of its kind. It’s an action- type movie that involves a lot of fight scenes. This movie is exactly what you would expect when you read the title. It is about a detective trying to catch a man that is working for a Japanese company “The Yakuza” and also the Chinese company “The Triads.” In the ending both companies are killed and so is the detective. The only one that survives is the man who is named Rogue.

     This movie is more of a mind- teaser. It has a lot of twists. It’s good when a movies has those because it well keep you interested in the storyline from beginning to end. If you like Sherlock Holmes books then you would LOVE this movie . It isn’t like most fake movies where the ending is either sad or happy. It’s a real movie where it has both endings, good and bad. This movie is also rated 5-stars or 2 thumbs up. Watching this movie would give you the feeling of wanting to watch it over and over again. Watch this movie, beleive me, you won’t regret it!

This article talks about two main people, Sinajana Mayor Roke Blas and his wife. These two people look as healthy as anyone can be, but in reality they are people with Type 2 Diabetes. They look this way because of their daily excersise plan and daily nutritional food pattern. It took this married couple a few years to get used to this lifestyle, but now its as if they have been living this way since they were born. They also motivated many people, who attended the 8th Annual Diabeters Conference to switch to a healthier way of living.

I agree that 25% of people on Guam Type 2 diabetes because diabetes is common for people on Guam. I also agree that people with diabetes prick themselves everyday to check their blood sugar level because people who have this ailment to check how much sugar intake they need or don’t need for the day. I don’t agree that people get diabetes from only eating too much or too little sugar because the’re certain cases in whick diabetes is a type of disease that runs in the family. I also disagree with the fact that since Mayor Roke Blas has a healthy lifestyle that he dowsn’t know how much sufar to take for the day his sugar level will either rise or fall.
